Notability Tag removed

To address the WP:Notability tag placed on this article: The Westwood Village Specific Plan (1986) included an "historical survey which identifies historically and architecturally significant buildings" in Westwood Village, Los Angeles. Holmby Hall was named in the survey as one of the buildings of historical and architectural significance. "The Spanish Colonial Revival building (3 B) at the southwest corner of Westwood Boulevard and Le Conte (originally Holmby Hall; Gordon B. Kaufmann and John and Donald Parkinson, 1930) is particularly redolent of the charm of the old paradigm, with arches on the first floor, shuttered windows on the second and an arcaded loggia on the third. At the end of this richly Spanish block, at the northwest corner of Westwood and Weyburn Avenue, is a tall, Gothically capped Classical clock tower (3 C) that thrusts up above the New Wave entrances of recently remodelled boutiques."

Holmby Hall’s history is tied in with that of the University of California Los Angeles (one of the most culturally significant campuses in the USA), as Holmby Hall was used as the very first dormitory for female students of UCLA.
