Revision of Awards Section

Someone has gone in and deleted Holly Hunter's "Wins" in the 'Awards' section and then instructed readers to refer to her infoxbox to find out about her 'wins'. I have viewed many different articles and have not seen one with this approach, and I think this info should be reinserted into Hunter's article. Does anyone have any comments? Gordon McDonald

Isn't he British? IXIA (talk) 07:32, 30 March 2008 (UTC) the photo is absolutely NOT Holly Hunter! You can call up any YouTube video of Holly Hunter and compare! You have to be more accurate than THAT! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.208.135.150 (talk) 18:36, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

filmography

She did the vioce of Mary Lincoln in Abraham and Mary Lincoln: A House Divided for PBS. Should we include this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.60.244.112 (talk) 21:15, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

The performance Ms Hunter gave in 'Crash' was truly Stella. The Movie involved the modern blending of Human emotions, (Sex, Fear, Status, Pain) with the Automobile. A 'Key-line' in the Movie is where Ms Hunter describes being appalled she had to pay to have her wrecked car taken away. Even after death and destruction the automobile is still entwined with her life.Johnwrd (talk) 21:01, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Other Media - "indistinguishable"

I am not too familiar with Holly Hunter's voice, but I think this sentence is in error. Just as "infamous" does not mean "more than famous", "indistinguishable" does not mean "more than distinguishable". It means *not* distinguishable.

While it could be possible that this sentence means to point out that Holly Hunter's voice has been featured in the "Got Milk" advert, since one could not otherwise tell that it was her, I doubt it. Is the author trying to highlight her *distinct* voice as part of the Got Milk? campaign?

Also, it merely states "recent Got Milk? commercials"....shouldn't it be more specific, especially date-wise, such as "the late 2009 Got Milk? television commercials" (I don't know if that date and ad format is actually true...just used as an example.) Thanks for reviewing this! Anjou Anju (talk) 19:15, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

The solo piano

Does anyboby know her piano skills, as in the end credits of the film The Piano, she is noticed to have played the solo piano parts. -- Room 608 17:26, 30 June 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roomsixhu (talkcontribs)

Error with photo

This is not Holly Hunter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.113.127.199 (talk) 01:54, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

It is Holly Hunter. I don't think that Alan Light would have made a mistake with it (a number of his free photos are used in wikipedia articles) as he knew the context (the 1994 Emmys) in which it was taken. The problem with the photo is that she's squinting. Compare the photo [1] in the article to some copyrighted photos where she has long hair: [2],[3],[4] Pericles899 22:27, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

If you compare the photo to other pictures of Holly Hunter it becomes obvious that it's not her. It might be a picture of a "Holly Hunter" but it's not the "Holly Hunter" who was in Raising Arizona, Broadcast News, The Piano, Copycat or Saving Grace. And even if it is her, why not change it to a good picture that looks like her? (----)

It is Holly Hunter, that's the whole point being made. It either is not her, which would make you right, or it is her, which would make you wrong.........and you, I'm afraid, are wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.183.34.47 (talk) 01:03, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

This latest picture is definitely and absolutely not Holly Hunter —Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.214.75.46 (talk) 11:47, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

The photo is NOT Holly Hunter at all. I just watched several YouTube videos with Holly Hunter, and there is not even any resemblance! Please get a REAL picture of Holly Hunter, or remove the current one. It is NOT Holly Hunter's photo you have shown there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.208.135.150 (talk) 18:39, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I am assuming this was resolved, as the Emmy award photo now up there is, indeed, Holly Hunter and Amy Madigan, along with the producers/director, etc., of "Roe v. Wade." --TEHodson 07:35, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Best Actress ever

Not just she has skill to play piano, (i know all the time will someboby spent to play it), but the beautiful face and talenteous woman must has a place in history like an incredible woman, i love her (Cristian Garduño Mexico City)

Good for you, Cristian, but the Wiki talk pages are not the place to express you love for her. --BwB (talk) 16:32, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Peep and the Big Wide World

She is the voice of Robin. I think she should be credited to it on her page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.104.148.96 (talk) 20:00, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

add another credit to filmography???

in 2001 Holly did the voice of Mary Lincoln in the PBS documentary "Abraham and Mary Lincoln: A House Divided: The American Experience".

How is it that Field of Dreams was left off the list of films she was in? That is an amazing movie and she was great in it — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.229.162.190 (talk) 16:46, 30 August 2011 (UTC) She wasn't in Field of Dreams, you're probably thinking of Amy Madigan — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kscfl2008 (talkcontribs) 01:52, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
