Spoilers
editCan we get a spoiler tag on the arrancar section? I came to read up on Hollows and had some serious stuff ruined for me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.76.6.31 (talk) 21:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Images.
editThis just might be me, but I think the Hollow types section is too clogged up with images. 3 is enough to depict Menos, adjuchas and vasto lorde hollow types, and to tell you guys the truth, the Shawlong picture kinda of spoil the entire layout. I really can't see any kind of idea represented by that picture at all.--Hanaichi 11:17, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- Kubo FINALLY got around to filling in that plothole? Nice. I thought he was just going to leave us hanging on that point forever, with an obvious solution (basically what he ended up saying), but one that we could never insert into the articles due to it being speculation.
- Oh, sorry, your question. Yes, the formatting is bad, but it does indeed illustrate a specific point, so I'm willing to tolerate it. There's not really a rationale issue either, though a better one that the current could probably be written. --tjstrf talk 20:11, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- I will like to request if it is possible to upload the image section with new images regarding the Menos classes, since the current anime-original arc for Bleach has revealed for the first time the Adjuchas class menos. Of course, if someone else that watched episode 148 of the anime thought that the designs for those Adjuchas were not very impressive, then likely we'll have to wait maybe for the manga to reveal pictures of Adjuchas with better designs than those which were shown in the anime. Gillians with unique forms
editThe previous chapter (284) actually did state tht some gillians attain unique forms and can further evolve into adjuchas. Access Timeco, where did you get your information? -- Ynhockey (Talk) 15:10, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
The Word "Arrancar"
editI'd like to point out that the word "Arrancar" isn't Spanish, but Portugese. The Spanish version would be: "Arranca". Cicaneo 06:11, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- "Arrancar" is listed in my Spanish-English dictionary. "Arranca" would merely be "arrancar" altered to fit the he/she/it possessive (I don't think "possessive" is the correct word, but I don't care). ~SnapperTo 03:38, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- "Arrancar" in Spanish means "to tear out, pull up, uproot," thus being the infinitive form. "Arranca" would be the third person indicative referring to he, she, it, or (formal) you doing the aforementioned action. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 04:46, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
4 Mysterious Figures
edit- SPOILER ALERT
Did we ever figure out who the four Hollows/Arrancar were at the beginning of episode 8? They aparantely gave orders to The Grand Fisher to kill Ichigo or something, then they never appeared again. When I first saw the episodes that reveal Aizen, Gin and Tousen to be traitors, I figured it was them, but I just went back to watch it and I see there are four people there. Was it just a plot point added by the anime makers before Tite Kubo elaborated more on Hueco Mundo? Tysis 01:16, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Di Roy and Iceringer. LINK REMOVED –Gunslinger47 17:33, 30 January 2008 (UTC)- Nevermind, that's not the scene you're talking about. –Gunslinger47 17:41, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- No technically, that guy with the turban like thing is the same guy in the anime, and I guess the other one with the pointy mask is also. Isn't that guy with the pointy mask the one Uryu kills in Hueco Mundo? I don't read the Manga so I don't know if they elaborate more on them than what you showed me. Cero issue again
editThis was discussed before, though in the end it was decided to keep the name of the attack "cero." I completely agree with this; it should be cero because that is what Kubo wanted it to be.
However, we have both Volume 6 and Volume 22 of the official VIZ translation that refers to the attack as "Doom Blast". Rukia and Yoruichi both refer to it as such, and even Yammy says something about them "not being able to survive my Doom Blast" (or something to that effect). As such, it is clear that VIZ went stupid (again) and translated something that didn't have to be translated, but I feel there should at least be a mention of this ("'Doom Blast' in the VIZ translation"). Sonído??
editSonido can never have an accent, it's impossible, it's just sonido —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.12.162.195 (talk) 23:58, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Pecche and Dondo Chaka
editIn one paragraph of the Overview, there is the following sentence: : 'While most hollows are evil, or at the very least mindless, at least a few are not, as is the case with Nel Tu and her hollow companions.' However, since then, it has been revealed that they were her followers when she was an Espada, especially when Szaeyal-Apollo Grantz revealed he knew their identities 'even if they changed their masks'. This would make them Imperfect Arrancar, rather than normal hollows.
- No, it wouldn't. It only suggests that getting their masks torn off resulting in a different form. There's nothing to definitively prove that they're arrancar. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 20:21, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Since they can use cero and their not regular hollows perhaps they are adjuchas. Their definitly not menos or vasto lorde or arrancar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.189.215.119 (talk) 21:49, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- They could be arrancar. That hasn't been disproved yet. It also isn't concrete that only menos can use cero. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:35, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
