Delay to 2030 due to tunnel dig under the bay. edit
Some sources allege the full lenght's delay to FY2030 is related to digging a big tunnel that will connect Shin Hakodate and Sapporo in near straight line under the bay, rather than going in a half-circle as shown in the current map. That will decrease bullent train travel times not just via reduced track lenght, but also through minimizing exposure to weather variances. 87.97.108.144 (talk) 18:32, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
