What is "Kelao"?
edit
This is placed in scare quotes and connected to Proto-Hmong with a dashed line (p. 300); all the other lines in the Hmong-Mien family are solid. Moreover, "Gelao" is listed in the Tai-Kadai tree, so it would seem these are different languages. However, Matisoff notes the strong influence Hmongic has had on Gelao, so perhaps the dashed line indicates a restructuring influence of Hmongic on Gelao? A text search does not turn up any other instance of "Kelao" than the tree, but I can't access p. 299, so there might be something there. — kwami (talk) 13:56, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

ISO 639-3 and glottocode
editThe ISO 639 codes indicated in the infobox are 639-2 and 5, but a 639-3 code exists for the macro-language : hmn
.
The glottocode indicated doesn't represent the same languages as the ISO 639-3 code, there is no equivalent glottocode for hmn
([1]).
