The article in my opinion generally satisfies GA criteria: it is well written, well sourced has good images. However I noticed a few problems:

  1. I thing 'Legacy' is inappropriate name for a section of the article about a living person. One usually speaks about legacy of a person who has already died and whose all deeds were in the past. However Sakimoto is quite young—he is only 40! I think this section, which is really about his participation in concerts, should be called "Participation in concerts" or something like that.
  2. I want to see more about his personal background: Who were his parents? Is he married? Does he have children? Where was his high school? (in Tokyo?). Where does he live now? etc.
  3. The title of ref2 is 'Profile', but should be 'Hitoshi_Sakimoto: profile'.
  4. The same with ref5.

My responses-
1 - Hmm, you're right, "legacy" doesn't have the right connotation. Changed it to "Performances", which doesn't quite cover what I'm trying to say with the sheet music books, but I'll think of something as I use the term in all of the composer bios that I write.
2 - I would too! The problem is, and I don't know if it's a Japanese cultural thing or a problem with English interviewers, is that he had never said anything about his personal life at all in anything I've found. What's in this article is literally everything that I could find about him- I really have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to fill in these "early life" sections for Japanese composers.
3 - Fixed.
4 - Fixed.

I should admit that I has been unable to find anything about his background as well, so I will promote the article. Ruslik_Zero 14:00, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
