Reginald Hine edit

Re Jack1956's recent addition of Reginald Hine committing suicide at Hitchin station, which was reverted by Redrose64. The claim is referenced in his article, but I cannot get the link to work. His death is likely to have been covered in The Times and other newspapers of the day, so that is not a major problem. However, the accidents and incidents section of station articles is usually for rail-related events and instances of terrorism, not for individuals who commit suicide at a railway station. I'm not wholly against the addition, but I think we should discuss the inclusion first. Mjroots (talk) 09:12, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I added the info because Hine was a major figure in Hitchin at that time and known nationally as an historian. There are many References that could be added. At the time this would have been a major incident at the station. Jack1956 (talk) 10:16, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
If there are many References that could be added, you really should have included one or two of the most reliable. It is your duty to add refs, not ours, per WP:BURDEN. --Redrose64 (talk) 10:20, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
I put five sources as the page you cited said that exceptional claims needs to have multiple sources. See here [1]. I felt it was my duty to do so. Jack1956 (talk) 10:21, 17 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
"Multiple" means more than one. In my last post I asked for "one or two of the most reliable". Your fifth source is a review of your second, so it's not a source about Hine. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:44, 17 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
