Why this article?

It's unclear why this article was developed, as it basically repeats material in the Yellow fever article. Also, except for the mention of Barcelona, it is exclusively covering the introduction of yellow fever into the western hemisphere and epidemics there, so should be retitled as "History of yellow fever in the western hemisphere". Even then, it is not very complete as far as epidemics in the United States - so is this supposed to cover the largest epidemics in the hemisphere, or what? It doesn't cover Finlay's discovery of the transmission vector, nor its publication in 1900 by the Walter Reed Commission, and the various prevention techniques developed, unintended consequences by uses of insecticides, etc.Parkwells (talk) 18:33, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

I will be adding more into the Philadelphia section and reorganizing it as well. Some of the information spans over more than just the year of 1793, so I will retitle this section and add what I've found over that time span and additional changes regarding hypotheses on potential causes of the pandemic.
