ABC-12D format on 1971 base?

Please provide a source before adding this format to the list. The image currently in this article that supposedly provides evidence is bears strong resenblance to the images found on [1]. If you add this format back to the table, please do provide an outside source stating that this format was actually issued, rather than in someone's imagination. Thanks. I have seen a couple of these. It could be an actual serial and a vanity plate or some sort of non-passenger type. Which photo on that website does the plate look like? --Techmobowl (talk) 03:36, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

If it's real at all, I'd think it would be a vanity. As for the image in question, the whole thing looks a lot like the images on the 15q site - the lighting, the black background, etc. More specifically, each of the six digits in the image in question are found on comparable plates on the 15q page. It could be coincidence, but it seems a bit too much for me. Further, I can find no other mention on the entirety of the Internet of this format. Qqqqqq (talk) 03:46, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Specifically, I'm convinced that it's photoshopped from this image: [2] — note the same marks around each of the top bolt holes. Also, I see that you added a format A1-BCD as well? Do you have any source or other information about this format? Qqqqqq (talk) 03:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Copyright infringement

Three photos in this article - the 1956 and 1957 Pennsylvania plates, and the 1960 Pennsylvania Suburban plate, were copied from the website www.ricksplates.com. Also, the discussion of the 1956 and 1957 plates appears to be also lifted from this website. Each page on this site states that all text and photos on that page are copyrighted. The 1956 and 1957 plate photos and text are found on this page: [3] The 1960 Suburban plate is found on this page: [4]
The individual who posted the offending photos and text in this article did so with the user name Ricksplates, in order to give the impression that the actual owner of the copyrighted photos and text was submitting them. This is not the case. The owner of the photos and text in question did NOT submit them for inclusion on this page, and has NOT given anyone else permission to do so. Ricksplates is a fraudulent user name intended only to deceive. Anything posted under this name should be treated with suspicion.
