Talk:History of the University of Virginia

How is this article devoid of mentions of slaves and slavery?

edit

The University itself has been documenting this history in the past 10 years, after initially ignoring it. The Wikipedia entry should have at least a couple of sentences about slaves' role at the university. https://libra2.lib.virginia.edu/public_view/1v53jx044 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.219.111 (talk) 19:25, 23 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

When was the name University of Virginia first used?

edit

The University was founded as Cental College. Article should clarify when it became the University of Virginia. deisenbe (talk) 11:43, 29 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
