GAC?

edit

How about nominating this article for WP:GAC? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 07:20, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

It would make a nice project for someone who would first like to do articles on all the red philosophers' names. I don't know that I'm up to it right now, myself. Nihil novi (talk) 10:04, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Plenty of scope for new good articles :) I'd suggest merging some short paragraphs, then applying for GAC. WP:RED supports red links, and it would be valuable to see what else the reviewer(s) would ask of that article before it can be considered a GA status; I believe it is pretty close to it already (Good job!).--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Non-analytical Philosophy

edit

There is no mention of any representative of contemporary non-analytical traditions represented in Polish philosophy (beyond Ingarden). What about other phenomenologists, thomists, marxists, and post-marxists? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pernambuco1 (talkcontribs) 17:53, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Still, nothing about Thomism in the twentieth century?

"a disproportionately prominent official role was given to Marxist philosophy"

An understatement of the century. The Communist period should be explained to Western people. http://www.journals.us.edu.pl/index.php/FOLIA/article/view/5209Xx236 (talk) 07:51, 9 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you would like to make additions or changes to the article, please feel free to place them here in Polish, with sources, and I will be glad to try rendering them into English for insertion by you into the article.
Thanks.

I don't feel like writing history of Polish philosophy. I have found a number of sources.
Perhaps the Institute for Basic Problems of Marxism-Leninism should be mentioned and the whole system of censorship and promotion of Communist ideology in Polish universities. The Polish Academy of Sciences was sometimes more liberal, because it didn't teach students.Xx236 (talk) 06:51, 11 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
