Splitting new "History of bonsai" article from main Bonsai article
Latest comment: 8 years ago3 comments2 people in discussion
This article has been created to contain the full contents of the "History" section of the current main Bonsai article. The main article has risen over 70,000 characters, approaching the "article too long" criteria in Wikipedia. Other long section have been split off in prior years, including "Cultivation and care" and "Aesthetics", helping simplify and focus the main article on key topics. This new page will continue that process. Sahara110 (talk) 15:33, 20 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Uhhlive: Looks like it has been moved, as I am replying to you on the Talk Page of the curiously-capitalized "History of BonsaI" page. I see that the drop-search-friendly page names of other bonsai-related articles (e.g., Bonsai aesthetics, Bonsai styles, and Bonsai cultivation and care) seem not to be an acceptable form for the History section. Is this a documented Wikipedia standard? If you know the answer please advise (preferably with a link to the relevant Wikipedia policy), so I can expand my knowledge. Thanks!
