World War II Air Raids

edit

As in the main article on the town I have added a paragraph mentioning Betjeman's poem "Slough" and the town's actual experience of aerial bombing in World War II. I hesitate to call the raids major or minor as my input (drawn from CWGC website) lacks the perspective of damage caused to townscape and industries, or whether Slough was known to be targeted. Local users better acquainted with the town and the period are welcome to elaborate.Cloptonson (talk) 20:07, 18 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
