File:Quetta At Night.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion edit

An image used in this article, File:Quetta At Night.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Claims of a dynasty edit

User Zakaria1978, Please provide here why you think your new information should be placed in this article. You might be right but you should provide sources that can prove the claim. As for now you do not have sources but rather place a source and say: "it's is in here" without detailing anything further. Casperti (talk) 21:14, 17 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

User:Casperti, I noticed that you removed sourced information from the article that was easily verifiable; this behaviour has been carried into other articles too, it seems. Might I know your reason for doing this? User:Zakaria1978, your contributions are appreciated here on Wikipedia, but I would advise you to use a citation template when adding information to the article in the future; I would also recommend using the "quote" parameter in the reference, as I have done. This makes it difficult for individuals who wish to remove well-referenced information from an article, because with the quote parameter, the information is verifiable. As such, I have added additional references to the article in this format to buttress the content you added. I hope this helps. With regards, AnupamTalk 18:08, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
