Shouldn't the title of this article be History of the Anglo-Egyptian co-dominium ?

no, it should be "condominium" edit

for the term "condominium", see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Condominium_%28international_law%29 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.27.112.146 (talk) 21:46, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Indeed it should be 'condominium'. Condominium is the only term used by scholars (compare a Google Scholar search for 'Sudan condominium' with one for 'Sudan "co-dominium"'). Condominium is a seventeenth-century legal term for shared sovereignty, as defined in major dictionaries, including the OED. The hyphenation 'co-dominium' is rarely used in law, with most its scholarly occurences traceable to a single oddly-worded decision on Atlantic fisheries.
The title of this page should be changed back to condominium before it becomes a source of real confusion for students. Happydemic (talk) 02:27, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
