This article apparently conflates two different, both clearly notable Japanese figures whose names seem to be transliterated into nearly identical forms. To use the most common forms for each:
Hiro Yamagata (b.1948), extremely notable visual artist who, among many other credits, is coauthor/illustrator of a collaborative work with Allen Ginsberg
Hiroo Yamagata (b.1964), notable writer on software-related matters who, in English translation alone, meets audience requirements (eg, [1], [2]) and is Lawrence Lessig's Japanes translator. [3]

- Well, I prefer, in the first instance, to have articles in specialized areas written by people who are familiar with the subject matter. You seem to differ. Monicasdude 21:41, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
