... or just a posh farmhouse? If they are of interest I'll sort out the distortion and upload a higher resolution version.

It appears to be Priory Farmhouse. A Grade II* listed building dating from the 14 to 15th century. Images of England says "The house thought to have been an open hall house originally: in the late C17 it was known as the Home Tenement, its present name dating from the late C19: it is possible that the house predated Hinton House as the Manor House: it may have been in the possession of Monkton Farleigh Priory." see full record at Priory Farmhouse (although the photo is from a different angle I'm 99.9% sure it is the same building). Could be worth its own article - with a bit more digging & would definitely be worth including in this article.— Rod ^talk 16:33, 1 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Rod, that's the place. I notice the photo in the linked article is from a side road; I took it from straight opposite, and stitched several images which is why the barrel distortion. Number774 (talk) 13:57, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
