Electrification?

Why so much emphasis on electrification? Why not more about the history of the monastary, the role it has played the Serbian Orthodox tradition, its cultura significance to Serbs, etc. I don't know enough about these subjects to write them myself; I'm commenting from the perspective of someone trying to gain a better understanding of the importance of Hilander. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 161.185.1.100 (talk) 15:29, 29 March 2007 (UTC).

Wrong

The monastery wasn't founded then. It was just renewed - the grounds are far older. It was just rebuilt/renewed. --PaxEquilibrium (talk) 12:45, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Saint Sava and Trojeručica?

How could it be possible Saint Sava gave Trojeručica icon to Hilandar monastery when Turks invaded Serbia!? This fact simply isn't true because Ottomans started their conquest of Serbia and the rest of the Balkans some 150 years after St. Sava's death.

It is important for the WikiProject to follow this article, that is why I am adding WPSQ with this edit. Hilandar has a pirgue (meaning grave) for the Kastrioti family which purchased it in 1426. "H. M." or "the H. M."? Unify!

The text seems to use the definite article about as often as it omits it. A uniform usage would be nicer. I vote for no article, but then I don't know the etymology of the name.Wegesrand (talk) 15:37, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
