Talk:Highlander: Endgame

A discussion between the differences between the theatrical and DVD would add to the dimesion of the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.109.248.114 (talkcontribs) 17:05, 17 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Film Date

edit

No fanon here — the information comes straight from Panzer's mouth. Any "out-of-school" DVD comments are strictly that — out-of-school, and are not expressly established in the finished film itself. In addition, the dating info and inclusiveness of Highlander: The Final Dimension is noted as being up to the individual in the light of lack of hard evidence as to Endgame's true date, the same as it was earlier.

The producers made it clear on the DVD that the film is set in 2002. Please stop vandalizing the article to fit your own fanon.--TOOTCB 20:27, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

"We sorta like to think that that the movie takes place in 2002. Connor and Duncan were together in 1992 as opposed to 1990."

-William N. Panzer, Audio Commentary, Highlander: Endgame DVD --TOOTCB 21:58, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I made the date discussion section for the sake of discouraging vandalism. It would behoove other Wiki members to not delete it.--TOOTCB 21:27, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Any attempts to add in invalid dates will be reverted by me. Endgame does not acknowledge Highlander III, so anything involving Highlander III's connection to the TV series is moot.--TOOTCB 17:47, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but out-of-school DVD commentary-chatter doesn't count.

At any rate, it's all moot now – recent canonical references in the Highlander comic book to The Final Dimension have brought the third film into the TV series' continuity, and that's in addition to the "stealth-references" made in H3 itself.

Fair use rationale for Image:High5070.jpg

edit

Image:High5070.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
