Answered my own question. He was not involved in writing the song. Well worth a listen, though. I have heard him sing his own music, now, and I am looking forward to hearing this cover, in particular, as I think his voice is well-fitted to the song. rags (talk) 22:01, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Four Top 40 versions on the UK chart

Alan Jones from Music Week says that four versions of Higher Love have made the UK/OCC Top 40 singles charts, with Kygo being the first to reach the Top 10 as of 2/8/2019, so with the orginal and covers from James Vincent McMorrow and Kygo, there is one more artist to mention who has covered this song. Does anybody know who it is?

Need to Specify Who "JR" Is

The "Background" section jumps into a very interesting passage about the drum figure at the beginning but it starts in the middle of the story! Who's JR? It's a great section but it needs to be finished. [later:] Okay, I guess it's the famous session drummer JR Robinson but that needs to be explained.
