This musical was not first produced on Broadway in 1998, I'm listening to a London Cast from 1987 right now. Algabal 07:08, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

This section doesn't make much sense. If the musical premiered on Broadway in 1998 after a try-out in San Francisco in 1997, how can it have been produced in London eleven years earlier? Was the London 1987 production actually a different version entirely?Wilus (talk) 17:09, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Just to clarify, the 1987 version is a different musical, although it uses the Cole Porter songs from the movie. But it has a different book, and the songs are in a different order. It is a different musical based on the same source materials. So, I moved the description of it towards the bottom of the article and restored the reference (click on 1987). -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:15, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
