Spelling (capital letters)

"High Throughput Satellite" is a proper noun. This designation does not only describe satellites that provide high throughput and so is not simply descriptive but as you can read in the article it includes several additional criteria. Comparable designations like Fixed Service Satellite are also spelled with capital letters. --Cvdr (talk) 16:19, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Proposed merger with Fixed Service Satellite

Why should this article be merged? The fact that there's a category for HTS alone justifies a corresponding main article to be in place. Furthermore HTS are a huge new market segment that is evolving in the satellite industry, that will gain more and more importance which is another reason for a separate article. --Cvdr (talk) 16:19, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

There is no need to provide citations as it is evident that these satellites are HTS. Again if you read the corresponding articles instead of vandalising it would become obvious for you, too. --Cvdr (talk) 16:19, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

• I'm not going to be drawn into a protracted debate here, but if you genuinely mean that then you have no understanding of how Wikipedia works. Everything must be referenced, and if you think my edits were vandalism then you aren't going to last very long here I would suggest you read WP:CITE, WP:AGF and WP:NPA before editing again. If you aren't going to provide references, then the article will probably end up being deleted, and I'd be more than happy to nominate it. --W. D. Graham 17:16, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

• The fact that the listed satellites are so-called HTS results from the very simple logical conclusion that the above-mentioned criteria apply to them. This can be proven by reading the articles about these satellites and applying something called logical combination.
