No, Boeing only became involved after WW1 temporarily. The earlier sea sleds (Vipers) were built in Pictou, NS and by Murray and Tregurtha in South Boston, MA (who also made the larger engines for the ones built for the Army and Navy). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agsmall (talk • contribs) 03:40, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
