Sentence is incorrect due to miswording? edit

"The heat emitted by the explosion in Hiroshima within the first three seconds at a distance of three kilometres from the hypocenter was about 40 times greater than that from the Sun."

Heat is thermal energy transferred between systems. Is this sentence saying the power output of the bomb was more than the entire Sun? That seems doubtful.

It's possible this sentence was meaning to say that the temperature of the explosion was greater than that of the Sun. If so, what part of the Sun? 50.86.240.11 (talk) 11:04, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
