Jaimie Mantzel edit

The link to Jaimie Mantzel's YouTube page leads to a tedious home video of people in a car. Should all reference to him be removed? The entry doesn't seem notable or interesting. Earldelawarr (talk) 12:33, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

The guy is probably notable, but the claims made in this article weren't referenced other than with his own Youtube videos, which are primary sources. (The "Herald" article didn't mention Hexbug at all, so it doesn't work as a source for the claim). For that reason, I removed the paragraph. --bonadea contributions talk 07:54, 15 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Restructuring edit

Hoo, boy. I'm recommending a major overhaul of this page, which I can of course work on myself. The article starts out as JUST a description of the original toy, lists the newer items, and then finishes with a spooning of the Nano's description straight off of their website. This should be broken up into an introduction, a VERY brief section for each toy (or groups of toys, based on functionality), and a list of references (there are none at the moment). Also, a few things specifically need to be changed to past tense - for one, they aren't ONLY sold at Radio Shack anymore. I bought my girlfriend a set from Target, and my own later from Walmart. I'm not sure how they're being distributed outside the US. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.206.238.155 (talk) 14:24, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

More information? edit

I think it would be beneficial to expand on the types of "robotics" being utilized? As the Nanos are simple "Bristle bots" or "Vibrobots" in BEAM robotics. The Inchworm is a Crawler... ETC ETC... It would also be beneficial to discuss how they work.MediaRocker (talk) 12:10, 17 November 2011 (UTC) It would be better with images. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.169.94.20 (talk) 00:38, 8 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Manual of style edit

This article is obviously running afoul of many policies and guidelines. We can start with the Manual of style about sections. Having a dozen subsections each consisting of a single sentence is obviously not supported by the MOS. Is there something that I am missing that having such a formation is an improvement to the encyclopedia? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 14:24, 17 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

It's an out-of-date advert. Condense to about three lines and merge to Robotic toys, or Robotic toy manufacturers, or somesuch.—Aquegg (talk) 06:56, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

External links modified edit

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Hexbug. Please take a moment to review my edit. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
