Legend vs. historical figure edit
The book Two Visions of the Way: A Study of the Wang Pi and the Ho-Shang Kung Commentaries on the Lao-Tzu by Alan K.L. Chan (which the first citation indirectly cites, albeit with a incorrect name) is pretty concrete that Ho-shang Kung is a legend rather than a historical figure, and goes into some detail about potential origins for the legend. Unless there's a compelling reason not to, I think this article should be much clearer about that. Wesleyac (talk) 01:27, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
