Songwriting
editHerman played classical guitar and composed many original songs, often narrating about the struggle and suffering of life and the courage to survive. He lived through hard experiences during the war and suffered an acid burn in one of his ears that he had self inflicted in a moment of deep depression. Like Irvin Berlin, he was deeply in love with the American dream. It ment everything to him to live free and to be able to take care of his loved ones. Herman was a great friend to many and will always be remembered for his great sense of humour and deep generosity. Singingmaya (talk) 08:28, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
