"Studies"

edit

Re: ==Studies== * Jonathan Chaplin, Herman Dooyeweerd: Christian Philosopher of State and Civil Society (Notre Dame, 2011).

  • Paul Otto, "In the twilight of Dooyeweerd's Corpus: The Publishing History of In the Twilight of Western Thought and the Future of Dooyewerd Studies." Philosophia Reformata 70, no. 1 (2005): 23-40.
This is not the best title for this section; if the article is at least in part based on these two works "Sources" would be better, and if not then "Further reading".--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 20:09, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think it should be renamed "Further Reading" for now, since most of the citations come from pages on Basden's Dooyeweerd Pages. Only when the article is further developed with references to and quotes from other authors should we name the section "Sources and Further Reading" (or something along those lines). "Von Alamassy"

edit

He is mentioned only in the lead and nowhere else in the article. If he is relevant a little background information would be useful, also verifying whether this spelling, rather than "Almassy" or "Almasy", is correct.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 20:25, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Bibliography

edit

I thought I'd mention I am currently working on a Dooyeweerd bibliography, with links and all: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-ygY6TO4NJ2dBtgacF_jOdTzWpseFPlb8L3XuD4taRk/edit?usp=sharing. --Mumford7 (talk) 19:26, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have deleted the document listed above since my discovery of a 1977 bibliography prepared by L.D. Derksen, A.M. Petersen, and A.J. van Dijk. Mumford7 (talk) 23:28, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Critiques

edit

There have been quite a few critiques of Dooyeweerd's philosophy, many of them written in the late 20th century. Here's a link to my (working) bibliography of them: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Y1a-w-6WEzBMe5zJLC2xfR__jDiFXypwqVwyA9dY0zE/edit?usp=sharing. --Mumford7 (talk) 19:26, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
