Song "Here I Am" by Dinka

edit

This post is concerning the line

*[[Song to the Siren (Tim Buckley song)|"Song to the Siren" (Tim Buckley song)]], containing the line and covered as "Here I Am" by [[Dinka (band)|Dinka]]

added on April 4, 2012 and removed on the following day. The reason was stated as "use not supported by article". In a way it is, if you listen to the first audio sample in "Song to the Siren" (Tim Buckley song). He sings "Here I am..." in a well known part of the song. Sources on the Dinka release are http://trancearoundtheworld.com/tatw/418 and http://www.discogs.com/Dinka-Purple-EP/release/3475675 among others. I think this disambiguation page is a good way to present even slight connections like this one. 77.12.219.98 (talk) 20:04, 5 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation pages index material available on Wikipedia. If the cover version is sufficiently notable to be added to the article about the Tim Buckley song, then add the info to that article first, preferably with a reference. Then the song can be listed here.--ShelfSkewed Talk 03:58, 6 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
