The HSSA is one of many heraldry societies around the world. Some of the others are also the subjects of Wikipedia articles. Why single out the HSSA for deletion, if heraldry societies in general are acceptable in Wikipedia? Arthur R (talk) 22:02, 13 August 2016 (UTC) (author of the article in question)Reply

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the article does not fail WP:SIGNIFICANCE

a) It reasonably plausible that the Heraldry Society of Southern Africa did exist.
b) There are plausible indications that research might well discover notability.
