There is an interesting note in Phineas_Gage regarding Joel Lenn and John Martyn Harlow. I suspect it could be used to expand this article, and the article of Harlow, showing his greater interest in odd cases, and giving some 'human' elements to this biography. - Well, I'm not sure it had as much to do with his interest in odd cases as with his competitiveness. But it certainly should be mentioned here (though probably not in the Harlow article).
