  • Could someone check whether the misspelling of 'supersede' in the pamphlet title is Hetherington's (in which case it should stand, possibly with a "[sic]") or ours (in which case it should be corrected)?

Cheap Salvation; or, An Antidote to priestcraft: Being a Succinct, Practical, Essential, and Rational Religion, Deduced from the New testament, the general Adoption of Which Would Supercede the Necessity for a Hireling Priesthood, and save This Overtaxed Nation Fifteen Million per Annum. London: Henry Hetherington, 1838.

Claim about communication from beyond the grave

edit

There was an unreferenced claim of this man allegedly communicating with mediums. Really? Sorry, I don't think this type of ridiculous claim belongs on wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.51.44.149 (talk) 01:11, 12 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have rewritten this article to provide more information and citations. I have flagged up two sections which, in my opinion, need numerous citations and would welcome the views of other editors as to how to sort them out. RedKite (talk) 09:54, 12 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
