editThis is nothing but trivia that has nothing to do in an encyclopedic article:
She was one of nine children, all of whom had interesting personalities and lived dramatic lives. Her older brother, Louis Henri de Bourbon, became the chief minister of France after the regency of Philippe d'Orléans. Her eldest sister, Marie Anne de Bourbon, was metally retarded and thus hidden from the court at a convent in Anjou. Her next sister, Louise Élisabeth de Bourbon, was her mother's favourite daughter and ended up married to an abusive husband, the Prince of Conti. Another sister, Louise Anne de Bourbon, became the mistress of the both the famous womaniser, Louis François Armand du Plessis, duc de Richelieu, and his great friend, her cousin, King Louis XV. Finally, Marie Anne married the Duke of Joyeuse in secret and was put in charge of the household of the new Polish-born queen, Marie Leszczyńska. Her youngest sister, Élisabeth Alexandrine de Bourbon, was a great friend of Madame de Pompadour. Her two other brothers Charles and Louis both grew up to be debauched libertines.
