I have rephrased comment on the Clive family wealth, to read as the groom had accrued wealth built during Clive's military campaigns in India. (Emphasis my added word.) Otherwise the reader may be left with unfounded impression that the groom (aged 20 at father's death) had accompanied his father in India.
