Note: Henley Management College, South Africa was the original Henley article, which was put up for AFD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Henley Management College before it had ", South Africa" in it's name. This article (without country qualification), is about the British parent organization and the British campus. --rob 03:59, 2 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Merge edit

This is one institution with plural pages, noe of them very long. Let's merge in ASC and then look at the need for pages for its overseas campuses. --Duncan 15:13, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merger edit

I thought the merger with Redding has still not been finalized...  VodkaJazz / talk  16:09, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Given that the Henley Business School at the University of Reading is actually the result of a merger (of Henley Management College with the UoR's existing Business School) rather than just a rename, I think that this move may have been a mistake.

I'd suggest chnging the article title back to Henley Management College, and adjusting the content and tenses so as to cover the history of the college from its inception to the date of takeover (August 1 2008). If it is felt that the new business school has sufficient identity seperate to that of the university, we can then create a new article for it. Otherwise we can cover it as part of the main University of Reading article.

Thoughts? -- Chris j wood (talk) 14:32, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, in the absence of any objections I have made the changes described above. At present the Henley Business School does not have its own article (no other UoR schools have articles either) but if anybody feels that it has sufficient identity and content seperate to that of the university, feel free to create a new article for it. -- Chris j wood (talk) 16:20, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
