What about our government?

edit

This article needs more information on Henderson local government, and additional references or links. TitanTankNate (talk) 18:15, 04 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Art Emporium is notable?

edit

Is the "Art Emporium" that is listed in the "Points of Interest" section really that notable? I can barely find any information about it on the web. As far as I can tell it's just some art store. I think it should be removed from the list. DavidGrayson (talk) 20:02, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Suburb?

edit

could we call henderson a suburb of las vegas? 67.172.48.126 20:37, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why wouldn't you? Seems to fit the criteria of a substantial residential area within a large metropolitan area that is the basic definition of a suburb. If you've been here, you'll know that if it talks like a suburb and looks like a suburb, it's a suburb. Spitwater 14:41, 16 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

you should have a picture of downtown henderson insted of that picture of a neighborhood.even if downtown henderson is cheesey —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.208.23.76 (talk) 18:54, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notable residents

edit

Needs to be updated or removed. Some of those celebrites live in Las Vegas proper or surrounding areas like Paradise and Henderson. That list would be more appropriate under Las Vegas Valley or Las Vegas metropolitan articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.192.176.30 (talk) 03:46, 28 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Lee Hazlewood died in Henderson. If he was a resident he should be added. 83.85.143.141 (talk) 20:12, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

The history section material that was added in November 2006 is almost identical to this page. Should the entire section be removed? APK straight up now tell me 04:37, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

There is an offensive photo in the page Ruskiguy (talk) 04:34, 20 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Structure

edit

Hi. I'm going through all the US Cities (as per List of United States cities by population) in an effort to provide some uniformity in structure. Anyone have an issue with me restructuring this article as per Wikipedia:WikiProject Cities/US Guideline. I won't be changing any content, merely the order. Occasionally, I will also move a picture just to clean up spacing issues. I've already gone through the top 20 or so on the above list, if you'd like to see how they turned out. Thoughts? Population

edit

This article states that Henderson has the second highest population in the state of Nevada. The Reno article states that Reno has the second highest population. They can't both be correct. 108.207.34.113 (talk) 17:13, 3 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Demographics

edit

It might make sense to include numbers from the 2020 census, and even remove the ones from 2000 and 2010. GA-RT-22 (talk) 16:21, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. TheYearbookTeacher (talk) 22:23, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Brochure vibes

edit

So much of this page reads like a brochure. In fact, in looking for citations, I copy and pasted parts of it and much of it was copied and pasted from the city government's website. Particularly, the culture/entertainment reads like an 80s travel brochure. TheYearbookTeacher (talk) 22:23, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
