• I whipped up a stub for this, but am confused about what the type species is (IF and MycoBank are contradictory (Hemipholiota populnea v. Hemipholiota albocrenulata); Singer 1962 has Pholiota destruens ...?). Sasata (talk) 17:17, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

Interesting - I think Mycobank got it wrong but I will double check. Thanks for starting it.Heliocybe (talk) 23:26, 20 September 2014 (UTC) Yes, if you look at the link to the protologue in Sydowia you`ll see that the subgenus has Pholiota destruens as type, but for a section within the subgenus, there is another type, Pholiota albocrenulat which is the type of Hemistropharia.
