"Do guinea fowls migrate from Africa to southern France?"
editHi all, this is my first time on Wikipidia talk. I heard that some guinea fowls migrate from Africa to southern France. So to me that would mean that they would have to fly from say Morocco to Spain at least and then take it from there all the way up to France. I would be very greatfull if someone would be able to give me some facts that would give me a true or false answer.
yours greatfully
Philip
- No, they were introduced to France. jimfbleak 08:44, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Merge
editThis page should be merged with Domesticated guineafowl, as it is about the same species. 144.214.42.129 (talk) 05:44, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- No it should not be merged. We usually have a separate article for the domesticated type and for the wild type. I mean, we have dozens of articles for individual breeds of animals like dogs and cows, even though all those breeds are still the same species. --Hibernian (talk) 00:18, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
- Hibernian is correct, no merge Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:28, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
