Since it narrowly survived an afd discussion just over a year ago no more reliable sources have been added to back up the assertions that this is a music genre. What I can find suggests that mainly two artists have used the term: Hank Williams III, to mean a form of cowpunk and Rob Zombie for a mix of metal and country. My suggestion is that, unless reliable sources can be provided in the next few weeks, this becomes a disambulation page to those artists/albums.--SabreBD (talk) 14:19, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I agree with your assessment. I might even go so far as to suggest a second AfD, since the result of the first was no consensus and there were very few participants. In any case why is this at Hellbilly music and not simply Hellbilly? --IllaZilla (talk) 21:40, 19 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for this. This is more complicated than I realised. You are absolutely right about the name, and if the eventual solution were a dismambulation it would have to be at Hellbilly (currently a redirect here) and this would become the redirect. This complicates things a bit if we go to AfD, since we are, in effect, deleting the wrong page. I guess the options are to do two AfDs, or get a move over the redirect and then AfD. I am starting to think a redirect from both articles to Cowpunk might be the simplest solution.--SabreBD (talk) 09:37, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
