Sadly, all the outside interfering sucked the character out of the film. The pointless stock footage (clocking in at a shocking 12 minutes) and half inching of Goblin's music ruined a potentially action-filled and humorous zombie film, turning it into an amusing farce. No doubt the film would not be as (in)famous or successful if it weren't for these scenes, but it was an opportunity wasted. As if that weren't bad enough, the whole shabby story was about to unfold soon again with the announcement of Lucio Fulci's much anticipated and loathed Zombi 3 (1988).

What documentary?

"In an attempt to give the film a more exotic feel and provide the protagonists with another set piece in which to battle zombies, Mattei suggested that footage from the 1972 film La Vallée be incorporated into the film and sets built to mirror the village from the documentary so new scenes could be shot".

What documentary is this referring to? The way it reads it seems to be referring to La Vallée as a documentary, which it is not. I am going to edit this line. 95.45.113.179 (talk) 14:57, 1 November 2015 (UTC)

Poster

I swapped the poster back to the original Italian theatrical poster. The earliest date the film was released was in 1980. Going by the Montly Film Bulletin review, the film was not released until a few years later in the UK, so swapping the current poster with the UK quad poster does not seem follow the infobox standards. Excessive titles and edits

I've removed the recent additions of excessive titles and edits. The various titles are plentiful, and hog up space in the lead, and the other citations added do not state at all what is being said in their respective citations Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:30, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
