It has. According to the Oudnederlands Woordenboek, s.v. antbīdan, the verb unbidan (or umbīdan, as it is spelled there) corresponds with Modern Dutch ontbeiden and with Modern English abide. Hinase matches with Modern Dutch tenzij (=het en zij) and does not seem to have a Modern English cognate (op. cit., s.v. hitnesī).[1] Iblardi (talk) 19:32, 19 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
