Proof? edit

I've got some sympathy with Bright because, like she says on her blog, singers often claim false credit for creating their songs. All the same, some proof is needed here that Bright wrote the songs that charted. See the notability requirements for composers. if she only part-wrote a coupe of tracks on an album that charted, or has only been talked about in blogs rather than authoritative news sources, she probably doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability requirements. Hello, i added a couple more CREDIBLE sources. Please look it over again. I rarely used blogs as backup, they are mostly from legit sources (billboard.com, allmusic.com, mtv.com, etc). Also, wouldn't the links to other wikipedia pages count as additional sources since those pages also have to have some credibility? Smacint (talk) 00:54, 13 September 2012 (UTC)Sept 12, 2012Reply

When I added the 'refimprove' clean-up template I was trying to be as fair as possible. In reality I could have nominated the article for deletion, because there is no proof that Bright is a successful song writer. I can see you have provided one news source which confirms she wrote one song (out of ten) on Allison Iraheta's album. All the other claims in the article are unsubstantiated, as far as I can see. You really need to find reliable proof Bright wrote the successful songs you've listed. Sionk (talk) 11:25, 14 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

heather's birth date edit

I have 3 sources: 1 is the birth records for Heather Dawn Bright in the state of Georgia, the other is Heather herself and the third is a highschool classmate also born in 1976 named Erica Williams. All 3 of which point if not the full birth date, at least the definate year of 1976 as she is turning 40 this year. 2016-40=1076.

Any actual proof, rather than hearsay and guesswork? If the subject (Heather Bright) hasn't clearly made her birth year (or age) public, we shouldn't be publishing it on Wikipedia. Sionk (talk) 18:12, 2 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
