Head start (positioning)Head startHead start (positioning) is the everyday and primary meaning of the phrase "head start". The three other articles on the disambiguation page, (Head Start Program, Head Start (TV series), Head Start Music Group), take their name from this meaning. Relisted. • Support moves. The nominator has this one exactly right. Gavia immer (talk) 22:21, 5 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Per the guideline WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, when there are multiple topics that could be referred to by the same name, a topic should be moved to the base title (Head start or Head Start) only if readers are much more likely to be searching for that topic than for any of the others. According to pageview statistics from [1], Head start (positioning) received 1,173 views last month, while Head Start Program received 5,502 views, suggesting to me that users are probably more likely to be looking for the program. The fact that the others derive their name from the "positioning" usage isn't relevant when judging which topic users are actually looking for in an encyclopedia. • I would also like to note some potential confusion about Head start and Head Start. If this article were to be moved to Head start, that would not mean the disambiguation page would have to move from Head Start. It could be argued that since the other three uses are proper names and this one isn't, it might make sense to put this one at Head start and the other three on the dab page at Head Start. However, I would still argue against moving this page, because I think it's more likely that users who search for "Head start" or "head start" are looking for one of the other usages and simply not bothering to capitalize. • Oppose. I don't care for the disambiguator on the current article title, but I also can't be sure it's the primary topic. While Propaniac is right that Head Start could remain a disambiguation page while this article becomes Head start, I don't think it's a great idea. Powers T 14:01, 12 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. I would use head start (with a hatnote) as the primary topic and Head Start as the disambiguation page. -Hibernian1 —Preceding undated comment added 18:40, 13 July 2010 (UTC).Reply

Head start (positioning)Head start – Per WP:DIFFCAPS. Remains the primary topic for the lowercase version. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 16:00, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose – Using just caps to disambiguate is not enough. Disambiguation page is best here. Dicklyon (talk) 06:00, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per Gonnym and because the concept of a head start isn't an encyclopedic topic, and the phrase as such (which might not be either, really, per WP:NOTDICT) is unlikely to be the primary topic, compared with the frequency with which it's a pop culture reference, especially to Head Start (program), which is probably the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. If we did any move it would be that one.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  17:32, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
