Hazen Dean is a notable person first all. Evidently BOTS do not understand th distinction of the coveted Eagle Scout Award through the Boy Scouts of America. Many Presidents if the United States, US Generals an Admirals, top business people and other notable individuals have earned the Eagle Scout rank. The rank is a high and difficult award to earn in the Boy Scouts of America as everyone knows. The percentage of those with the Eagle rank are very small out of the population of those in the BSA. Hazen Dean is notable for many reasons as stated in the article. He was a life-long leader in the Boy Scouts, he was the last adult to earn the Eagle Scout rank as an adult in the 1950's. His distinction as a Boy Scout Troop leader, leading nearly 90 young Americans to earn the top distinction of Eagle Scout during his long tenure of many decades as a Boy Scout Troop Leader - more than any other in Scouting.
Hazen Dean has been recognized by the Commonwealth of Kentucky with a Kentucky Historical Marker in Owensboro, Ky. The Hazen Dean article should remain on Wikipedia. 2603:6011:DD07:184B:20F1:E38:76B1:3987 (talk) 19:15, 17 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
