I'm honestly not quite certain how to cite something like this. The write-up is purely out of my personal knowledge, and the many factoids come from a wide diversity of sources. I am one of maybe three actual authorities on this preserve. My work was critical to creating this preserve, and I made the map, as well as took the photos. The acreage of the entire parcel comes from Athens County deed records. The acreage of the old-growth forest comes from my GIS analysis. Importance edit
I want to clarify that this article would not be of particular importance in and of itself -- only being some 106 acres -- except for the fact that it is old-growth forest, which rarity does make this a significant article. jaknouse (talk) 18:35, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
