The three films take place over three nights in a swamp near New Orleans. Film 2 continues from film 1 and film 3 from from film 2 so they make up one continuous story. Parry Shen is in all three films, in 3 different identities, the first 2 of which are killed. Marybeth Dunston fights against Victor Crowley in all 3 films but we do not know if she dies at the end after finally finishing the monster. Crowley was said to be a "returner" who no matter how many times he was killed, at night he would always come back again, like at the moment he died, intent on revenge and murder. He stayed in the swamp near the house where he lived and where he originally died.(5.8.186.99 (talk) 18:59, 21 July 2017 (UTC))Reply
