Use?

Man, this is one poorly written article. Still. " It is consumed Only by smoking typically in a pipe, vaporizer or joints, where it is normally mixed with tobacco, as pure hashish will not ignite in joints." Really. What about eating? And as far as smoking, what about hot knives, or under glass? Also, hash can absolutely be ignited in a joint, whether it will continue to burn or not is the question, I think. The answer is, yes it can, for I have rolled many a joint with nothing but a ZigZag and some hash, using a method (brilliant, I might add) of my own devising, c.1981. expanded section on oral ingestion

Would be nice to see an expanded section on bioavailability/preparation of hash for oral ingestion. I can find no consistent data on this topic on the internet, including on sites like Bluelight, Erowid, etc. There seems to be no consensus on whether hash must be cooked/heated for the THC to be bioavailable, whereas everyone agrees that marijuana must be cooked if it is to be ingested orally. When it comes to hash, however, some say that it can be eaten raw as long as it is taken with fat (on the theory that the THC is already liberated from the plant material and just requires lipids in the bloodstream for it to be absorbed), some say that it must be heated in oil (but without reaching the smoke point; otherwise the THC will be destroyed), some say it must be eaten or heated in saturated fat, others say it should be taken with Omega 3s. The contribution of a knowledgeable source on these questions would be a valuable addition to this entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.176.147.203 (talk) 03:51, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
