Between 1788 and 1791, under an East India Company contract, the Braithwaite brothers reportedly recovered 97,650 silver dollars from the wreck.
Although good to know, I have no idea whether that was 10%, 30% or 90% since there is no obvious reckoning of ounces and dollars ( and dollars issued by which country ? The Chinese preferred silver admittedly, but no doubt also liked silver issued in trustworthy form ). Claverhouse (talk) 23:17, 24 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
