I put this article into the "Canadian lawyers" category rather than more specific "Lawyers from Manitoba" because Walsh's major contribution and basis for notability is his contribution to the law in all of Canada. It's why he was made an "Officer" of the Order of Canada than the lower "Member". Officers are those who make a contribution at the national level and Members are those whose contribution is more local in nature. I also included him in the "Capital punishment in Canada" category because he was a significant leader of the movement to abolish it in Canada, which again is the significant basis for his notability.Agent 86 (talk) 21:57, 29 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
