Don't You DARE Remove The "Controversy" Section

The controversy is fully sourced by a link to a transcript of Harry Smith's own words.

Your OPINION that Newsbusters is not "trustworthy" is irrelevant, and in any event silly in view if the link to the actual transcript.

Your OPINION that the section was added "to prove a point" us irrelevant, because the criticism of Smith is valid in view of his own words as evidenced by the transcript.

The transcript is moot. Video clips (which are copyright violations) are equally moot. In essence, the site (which is a blog, not a reliable source) presents its own interpretations of what the statements mean and selects which comments are important. If the interpretations are correct and significant, other, reliable, sources would cite them. No such other sources exist. If such sources do exist, we should be citing them, not your blog. So, where was Harry born ?

The “infobox” lists Harry Smith’s birthplace as “Hammond, Indiana”, but the “Early life and education” section lists his birthplace as “Lansing, Illinois”. Which is correct? To make matters worse, the lone citation for “Early life and education” is a dead link. Lyttle-Wight (talk) 18:58, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
